Duncan Scott (BSc, MSc) is a director and joint owner of Terreco Environmental cc. He has been operating in South Africa as an Environmental Practitioner since 2002. He has undertaken a wide range of project activities in that time. Those include environmental impact assessment for NEMA and DMR projects, permitting processes for DMR applications as well as on site monitoring of construction activities.

He has undertaken projects as an environmental advisor, co-ordinated multi-disciplinary teams for various environmental and mining projects, prepared reports, method statements and guidance manual/documents auditing. His environmental work experience includes the preparation of environmental screening/fatal flaw reports, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Monitoring Programmes and on site Environmental Control Officer Monitoring activities.
He has worked extensively on Department of Roads and Public Works, SANRAL and municipal infrastructure projects as well as on numerous private developer and private mining company projects.

Duncan has undertaken numerous area wide road maintenance project surveys. Those included the investigation of all existing material sources along all district road alignments within a specific municipality and the preparation of fact sheets highlighting environmental parameters at each site.
